318 is suddenly doing THIS:
I am running a stock 318 with a Holley 2280, stock ignition and 4-wire ECU, single ballast.
Out of nowhere, it’s started falling out at part throttle.Doesn’t matter if it’s free running or under load, above 1500 rpms it’ll begin cutting out and die if I hold my foot in it.Also starts smelling like an arc-welder at that point, weird combustion odor.
Restarts with about 3 seconds of cranking, and I can rev it through the “falling out” spot, so it’s not a complete loss of spark/fuel.

1963 Valiant V200 Wagon
Well now that its officaly my car, i though i would start a thread on its progress. today i just started cleaning everything up. i tore out the carpet to check the floors. they are rusty, but no holes and its not too bad. maybe just some patch panels. i also degreased the engine bay a bit. im going to try to pull the engine tomorrow. enjoy!
1968 Barracuda runs again
I just got this car running today. Started with a quick out with the old in with the new two years ago. Well you know how that goes. Pulled the /6 out and one thing led to another. Now it has a 360-727 combo, and the only thing on the car that was there when I started, is the paint and the top. I’m going to do those this winter. Still have a few thing to sort out,like the A/C, under hood wiring clean up, and finish the glovebox. I will have to make one, The A/C takes up the room the old one…
question about mini tub
in every article about how to do mini tubs, i’ve noticed the hanger that is spot welded to the inner fender is rotated during the middle of the process. does this hanger/support move easily and also when welding it back on, does it need to be in the position angle as before (with triming the bottom)?
ralley dash question
on the back of my ralley dash near the wiper switch there is a resistor with a push on connector . It looks like it plugs on to one of the gauge pins but which one is my question? any help would be greatly appreciated
what do you think is the best stance for a 71 duster?
ever since i got my duster i’ve been contemplating which stance id like to go with the car; either a low stance with bigger wheels more for cruising or more dragster look with m/t drag radials?
