In 1966, were the heads on a 273 / 2 barrel, different than the ones that came on a 273 / 4 barrel 273 or a Commando 273 ?

I have been reading post after post on certain combo’s but there never seems to be one like what you have so here’s one that I need input on.it’s almost time for full assembly of my 408 so before i finish this is what I’m looking at for cam and convertor.some strip mostly street

I have a 73 duster, I replaced the wiring harnness with one from a 73 dart. I was having wiring problems battery would not stay charged and stuff like that. I replace the battery with a newer one that had more cold cranking amps. That problem is handled. Now I went to start it and when it did start the car ran like crap, I guess the timing was not right. Now I checked the plugs they where are filed. Replaced with new plug. I got a eldebrock carb 650cfm. The car still just don’t wanna…

Came home yesterday evening to find a box on my porch. Wasn’t expecting anything, so it was a bit of a surprise.

Opened the box and guess what I found?

A tail panel for a 68 GTS!

The guy that I bought my GTS from was cleaning out his garage and ran across it. Instead of tossing it or selling it, he decided to send it to me since I gave him my contact info when I bought the car.

Really a great, upstanding guy.
