Junkyarding Tomorrow. First Time. Any Tips?
So me and my dad are going junkyard hunting tomorrow. A place downtown has a ’88 5th Avenue (M-Body) that I am going to grab the disc brake parts off of for my Dart.
This is the first time I have ever gone to a pull-it-yourself yard, and I am sorta excited. Any tips as to things to do or not do? (My brother does it all the time, but won’t tell me anything.)
I plan on grabbing this:
L&R Disc Brake Spindles
L&R Rotors
L&R Calipers & Adapters
L&R Hoses (To get correct length on new…
LCA sway bar tabs ?
researching info on sway bars, well ahead of a purchase, need one item understood,, on the lower control arms,, some have “tabs” for sway bars, some aparently do not,, guessing the tabs are where the sway bar struts mount,,
if I get a set of LCA’s with out the tabs,,,
* guessing I can buy or fab tabs?
** is it difficult to propertly weld the tabs in the correct location? basically is a template or mounting dimensions available?
*** if a template is not available how do you decide where to…

Hey guys Im looking for some advice for the venture Im going to embark on tomorrow.
I have a water leak in the main line coming from the street. I talked to my neighbor who has helped with another neighbors pipe and also has been into his as well.
