calling all you mopar wizards

well, i figured i would post it here.
i am trying to replace the 1970 340-4 speed that i found sitting, fixed it all up and then wrecked it.
so after like two years i find one that i could afford at the moment. it is a 1971, 340 car. i know it is a factory 3 or 4 speed. so i will say it is a 340-manual car. the body is real straight with only a few spots of filler on the car. luckily ithas been a race car since 82 so it has been off the road for some time.
it has a 8 3/4 rear with a 4:10 posi chunk, front disc brakes, and two new weld prolites with new slicks on the back.
the car is fully gutted under the hood. no engine, trans or any other accecories under the hood. no wiring harness either. but it does have the harness under the dash. the floors need some help, but other than that, the body is sound. the interior is completely gutted with a roll cage. the dash is still there.glass is all there.
so my dilema is, i need you guys to give me your honest opinion. i know that pics speak a thousand words, but the car is too far from me.
should i save another mopar? or should i pass, and just pick up a more complete one and just swap to a 4-speed?
i know 340 cars go for a little more money, but it does not have a build sheet or fender tag, so we will never know if it was a 3 speed or 4 speed.
i can get a dis-assembled 69 340 for 800.00, and a 4 speed for 350.00.
but after searching, i see that it will cost quite some more to get all the other stuff that i will need, just for the running gear
a good roller 340 manual car, is it a good deal for 1,500.00? with title?
all the input the merrier
