Ok guys just looking for some suggestions on do's and DO NOT's I am planing on building it up. Do not want stock h.p. I would like to see 600 + HP . I know guy always say 6 + but that is my goal as I do have the time to stock up parts while I prepare the car . So that said I spoke with my shop a little about the heads as to should I buy AL. Or build the originals . He told me the originals will be fine . Not sure if I like sinking a pile of $$$$$ into old cast heads what do you guys think ? Next we spoke about 4 bolt main caps and he said no need ?? I have read a lot of info (to much ) and just don't want to sink all this in and skimp on thing that at this stage is penny's relative to breaking it and then starting over . My shop has been building mopars since the late 70's but has not done a hemi in many years . I trust his opinion as he has built some silly 440's and my sbc 383 stroker. Just don't want to buy another 392 and start over after a bad judgement call !!!! Not a $500 sbc :doh: thanks guys !
