My autometer sport comp mini tach stopped working today but not while running went to start her up today after replacing the voltage regulator and noticed the tach wasnt working. Check the fuse its good getting power to it. My question is its a analog guage and works off of one wire coming from i believe the negative side of the coil. Is it actualy using 12 volts plus the wire coming from the coil to read rpm or is it just using the single wire from the coil. I have power going to it and the light works in the guage just the needle doesnt move. Any thoughts?
