I have a 440 that I anticipate rebuilding. I want to ask everyone what their preferred 440 setup is. I was looking into putting the six-pack on there but when i looked at the stock specs, a 440 six-pack had only 15hp over the 4bb. I was on jegs.com and they want $2,000 for a six-pack setup. If im gonna spend that kind of money I want more bang for my buck.

Well I am about 60% sure I am going to get a 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. It has a 318ci engine w/ purple shaft cam, but getting swapped for a stock 360(yes or no?), 727 trans, 8 1/2″ rear, partial tub, 650cfm carb, new electric fuel pump, new front shocks, and hood pins.

What are some first things I need to do? I would like to keep the 318 in until off season, then swap it during this winter. Anything with a $1000 budget I could do with it? I am planning on taking back and passenger seats…

My ’67 cuda (with a 273 V8 Commando engine) has an MP electronic ignition kit with an orange control box. I’m thinking…should I gap the plugs to the factory’s spec of .035 or should I widen the gap to perhaps .040? :scratch:

just what it says. i am looking for a newer carb then the one i have thats easier to tune and that i still get some performance out of. i dont want to have to rebuild it i just wanna bolt it up tune it and go.
