OK guys, here's the deal, a while back I made a custom adapter that allows you to just screw on a Flip top cap from a Barracuda or Charger to a flat Quarter Paneled Dart, Duster, or Valiant. That came together extremely well and I have been kicking the idea around of having several of them made so I can sell them.
Now I have come up with a new idea and plan on designing it as soon as my factory style Steering wheel gets here. I like many A-body owners have install a factory A-body console and am now left with the remenents of the Column Shifter. I plan to make an easily installable replacement piece. I plan to make it from Aluminum and if it works out well Ill have several of them made to sell.
I figure since there are so many of us that have switched from column to floor shift and the only way to remedy the ugly column is to get a floor shift column, which are not cheap, that I may have a great plan here.
What do you guys think, will anyone want one? Provided I can keep the cost down (machine work cost will determine the price primarily).
