Hi all... I was wondering what some of you have done to clean your alternator case. My 66 Barracuda alternator has a layer of oxide on it. I have seen some polished alternators, they look great. Do they stay shiny, or do they corrode soon after polishing? Do they need ot be waxed? I am not sure I want to go to the trouble to polish mine, any other cleaning ideas? Is there a coating that works?
