Dropped the restored original 440 back into my 1970 300 convertible today, and I’m starting to bolt back on all of the ancillary things.
My air cleaner has been badly brush painted some time in the past, so I’m going to run it through my bead blast cabinet and repaint it before dropping it back onto the carb.
What would be the factory correct paint for a 1970 440; wrinkle paint, or semi gloss?
