I have a street/strip 72 challenger with a stock T handle slapstick.
I really want to make the upgrade to a reverse manual valve body. I would like to upgrade the shifter, but I am wondering if anyone has successfully fit an aftermarket shifter into the factory console? I am willing to make a new top plate to make it work. Or, I would be willing to use the 4 speed style (bigger hole in the top plate) to fit one, but I am wondering if anybody has put one in and has photos?
