1975 dodge dart swinger (dash lights)

Looking for help with my dash lights. I only have power to the right side of the dash.
Things i've done so far are: cleaned and replaced all lights and sockets. replaced headlight switch, all lights work on the car as far as parking lights, blinkers, headlights, doom light, dimmer switch, ect. left blinker flashes on dash but right side does not. i also do not have temp gauge or fuel gauge power. ( i know they work). dash is grounded well. Here's my question: where does the dash get its power? ( i assumed it got power from the red and black wires connected to the left side of the dash) is there any power that comes from the round plug in the center of the dash or does that just send power to the appropriate parts? i'm just looking for a better understanding of where the dash gets its power from before i replace the whole dash. i have not been able to find any cut wires or any damage to the harness itself. I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to wiring. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks dan
P.S. Did try a different voltage regulator,( if that's what its call) on back of dash.
