Can someone tell me what the radio noise suppression capacitor near the instrument cluster voltage regulator on a '72 Valiant does and if it slides into the same middle slot that the regulator came out of? I'm trying to fix my fuel and temp gauge by installing a new regulator. When I pulled the old one out I didn't notice if the end to the radio capacitor was sharing one of it's slots or not. As or right now I have them both plugged in and my fuel and temp gauge is still not working. It's so frustrating mot being able to see how much fuel I have. I drive this car every day and have ran out of gas on a couple of occasions already. Thanks!
