I recently bought a reproduction 7 rib vacuum advance hose for my '72 duster. I got the part today and compared it to the one on my car. The reproduction hose ID is 1/8. It wont fit over the port on my carb (edelbrock 1406) or the port my vacuum advance (stock). I tried doing a search on this issue here and the internet...nothing. When I bought the thing I wasn't given a choice of sizes. I figured there was only one. Did I buy the wrong hose? The one on my car currently is also the repro 7 rib style but the ID is 3/16...the same hose that's on my cheapo vacuum gauge (without the ribs of course). I know i could just get some generic hose and slap it on, but I like that original look. Has anyone else had this issue?
