Here is what I have. I have a 440 block that is believed to come out of a 74-76 New Yorker. I plan to have the block bored .030 over. Im looking at going with the 440source stroker to a 500cid. Im looking to get into the middle to upper 500hp or even 600 with 10.5 to 1 compression (give or take a bit) on pump gas. Suggestions on the rest would be helpful. looking to invest 2000-3000. Not looking for cheap a$$ parts but decent parts for the money. Non stroker options is good too. Also I dont see many using gear drive instead of timing chain anyone see problems with them?
