i have a 66 chrysler New Yorker with a 440 in it. about 6 months ago my oil pump went while i was driving on the highway. car smoked a lot and didnt start after that. i changed the pump and the rattling from the valves went away. but i havnt moved the car because it has no power what so ever. almost as if it has no compression. anybody know what could of gone wrong? if so, is it even worth keeping? =/ i thought maybe i have a leak in my carb and needed it to get rebuilt. i tweeked the carb and nothing changed at all. any suggestions.?:confused:
