My 72 Dodge D-100 has a 317/727 combo with stock heads and an Eddy Performer - 625 CFM carb. The truck runs great below 4,500 RPM but the ignition starts breaking up around 4,500 at full throttle and it falls on its face. It also pops up the dipstick a hair when this happens.
