This is a highly optioned numbers matching car that when full restored will be worth some big bucks. Right now the car is perfect for a weekend warrior and a cruise night car. Most of the hard work has been done which makes this car a great driver.
Here is a list of the recent work that I have completed on the car and a list of new parts.
I have restored the under carriage of the car. It had 3 coats of Eastwood Chassis Black Paint and was primed with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator. I spent over 50 hours sanding, grinding and scraping years of road grime and light surface rust away. The front floors were already patched with aftermarket correct floor peices. The entire under side of the car is solid and looking excellent. I also replaced the following parts on the car.
New Pypes Violator 2.5" Stainless Steel Exhaust
New KYB Gas rear shocks
New Fuel Tank and Sending Unit
Newer Optima Battery
New Trunk Mat
New Carpet
New Console
New Dash Bezel and Glove Box Panel
New Grant Steering Wheel
New DemonIVR voltage Regulator
Custom installed Tach for Factory Look
All Gauges cleaned and Working
New Window cranks
New Door Weather stripping
New Edelbrock Air Cleaner

[font=Georgia][color=#00429a]The factory heating and AC system has been removed from the car. All parts will be included EXCEPT for AC compressor. I was planning to install a retro fit Classic Air AC and Heat system for $1295 [The Classic air system is the best on the market, I have replaced the dash bezel with a non AC type which is required for the c=Classic Air system. I also purchased and will include a factory heater control unit which works with the Classic Air system. The original AC dash Bezel is included as well if you decide to put the original system back in. I have installed block off plates in the firewall where the old components were.
The car runs strong no smoke. The oil pan gasket drips a little. The power steering also has a leak. Clutch is good and the car is pretty tight. The syncro for second gear is worn and occasionally pops out on deceleration only. The engine could use a tune up. The has an Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley Double Pump 650 carb, It appears to have a mild cam upgrade as well. Runs and idles fine on pump gas. the car starts everytime no issues. Tires are good, Brakes are Good, Crager SS Wheels.
The paint is a few years old and is starting to lift in a couple spots along the roof and on the drivers front fender, The car was originally Dark Red as shown when you research the data plate. Overall the car looks great and is a fine looking driver with a nice shine. There is some filler in the wheel wells rear and lower front fenders and doors. all solid but will need to be redone if your planning a total restoration.
Here is what the car needs
New Headliner
Minor Rust repair in the trunk. (see pics)
Repair leaking power steering
Tuneup
New windshield (fogging)
Misc trim peices (front and rear glass)
Please ask me as many questions as you can as may have overlooked something! Please email for more pics.
