Two problems:
bad tach signal at idle
headlights etc. dim at idle.
I've wired up a tach which at idle isn't right, it's set to 8 cylinders and getting it's signal off the + on the coil.
Also I just replaced the battery today hoping for results (it was shot anyway)
Here's a vid, please excuse the long pauses in between, I aimed predominantly at the tach as I made the vid for figuring out what's wrong with my trans;
SKIP AHEAD to 1:40 and that should illustrate my point at 4:21 also...
Also the headlights dim at a stoplight, worse when the heat is on and worse still with a turnsignal on. My stock amperage gauge drops to around -20. When I turn the heat on you can hear the blower motor slowing with each turn signal blink!
