wonder what the aspen will run with its new engine? the combo for now is an old la crate 360/360hp motor with about 9 to 1 cr, 484/284 cam all stock except for the intake which was replaced with an rpm airgap. came with a mopar single plane. 904 tranny with cheetah vb, 3400 tci streetfighter converter, 4.30 with a spool, 28.5 in slicks weight about 3400 with me in it. old combo ran a best of 7.62 in the 1/8 which converts to a high 11s in the 1/4.
the new to me 360 motor will have about 12 to 1 cr, 540/312 comp cam, worked iron heads, plan on using the rpm airgap and a 750 edlebrock carb. the motor ran mid 6s in the 1/8 in a 2400lb ply arrow. any guesses?
