Well, things have kind of crashed here once again. This is getting old. Seems ever other month I have unemployment stopping things for a phone interview. They ask the same stupid question every time. Why am I not at my last job. They have even called my old employer and got all the info from him as well. Any ways. looks like I may have to sell my last D.D. car to cover rent and bills. Wasn't long ago I had to sell my toyota truck. I though I had finally got this all straightened out. Last time it took me about 6 weeks to get money coming in again. So like it or not. I am going to put my old motor back together again so if I have to sell the Nissan. I will still have a car to use.
My question is this.

My motor ran ok before the cam bolt loosened up, good compression. Not a big deal for the cam sprocket. No damage was done. A new timing set would get me going again.
I have the motor out all ready and the heads off. Pistons are sunk down in the hole .205
I pulled my springs off a few cylinders of my 346 heads that were on the motor. As suspected. New seals are in order. I have them so that is ok. A few guides have a few thousands play in them.
The 906 heads I have look a little better. But, the spring height is different than the 346 heads. I figure since the 346 heads were from a HP motor and have the dampers in them. That may be the reason for this.
I have a full set of new valves I was going to just lap the valves into the heads I will run for a little bit.
The cam I have in now is my concern with putting the 906 heads together. my cam lift is in. .444 Ex .466
The spring seat to the top of the valve is about .050 to .075 less on the 906 heads.
The last option would be to put the stealth heads on. Which I figure would probably be a power killer with the piston so far down in the hole.
So what do you think. Just lap in new valves, put new seals in and run the 346 heads or just new seals and run them?
Run the stealth heads?
Or take a 906 head down and see if I would get coil bind running the 906 heads.
Once things get back and going good. I plan on picking up another driver car, then pick up another 440. Take my time and do a stroker motor.
