Hello. I'm hoping someone can identify this part I found under my 72' Charger. It was laying on the garage floor after replacing the front (disks) pads, and rear (drum) brake shoes. My 'guess', is that it belongs somewhere along the 'routing' of the parking brake tensioning cable. You'll note, there is no 'bolt on' feature.
The parking brake cable, equalizer, and adjustment rod, are intact and in place. However, the adjustment rod nut bottoms out long before the parking brake cable is taut, which leads me to think it's part of the cable routing.
If anyone can verify that this is indeed part of the parking brake cable routing, and 'where' it might go, (maybe with a picture showing the location and orientation?), I would greatly appreciate it.
