I'm running a 408 in my Aspen R/T and the oil i've been running this year was valvoline VR1 10W30. It has lots of additives in it for the flat tappet cam but just wondering if i should go back to running a heavier weight oil? I think this oil comes in other weights just never found it and the speed shop i buy it from never recommends heavier oil :confused:
When it's cold the pressure reads 75 on cold start up,then 50-55 at idle but when i make a pass it's 60-65 wide open and coming up the return road it's around 30-35.
What do you think?
