So with a bunch of help the conclusion seemed to be that a had a b body 8 3/4 and that's why I was scraping the fenders with 235's and 4.25 bs rims. I took a chance and bought some jegs sport stars designed for a mustang with a 5.5 bs and they fit perfect. I went from 15x7 to 15x8 and have 1 1/4" gap between tire and leaf spring and a 1 inch gap between the tire and fender. I've had the car under a year and as an added bonus I noticed the leaf spring had a newish sticker on them and put the part number in just to find it the car has Mopar super stock rear leaf springs too.
