I need some tranny advice. I have been wanting to swap to a manual and may have found a cool trade. I found a Liberty shifted 18 spline A833 like new for $1800. I have everything I need for the swap minus the actual tranny and scattershield. I would still have to buy a scattershield.
What I am proposing trading is my 727 with aluminum drum, 8" ATI converter, reverse pattern transbrake v-body, Quartermaster shifter, and new tranny cooler. If the two trannys are in similar condition, how close value-wise am I to an even-up trade? Just picking some brains here. Thanks for the help.
