I am in the market to buy a 8000 to 10000 GVW, 8.5 by 20 foot open auto trailer. What is everyone's thoughts on aluminum versus steel (other than the obvious double the cost difference?) Both will have either a steel deck or aluminum deck. I probably will buy in the next week or so. The aluminum hauler is a Featherlite.
