Here something that someone may have the answer to : I have a 1967 New Yorker with power seats.The switch is on the side of the seats and looks like the typical triangular shaped large toggle switch.Here's my question,Did they make a power seat that just goes forward and backwards or did they all come with a tilt function also? It seems my seat moves forward and backwards with no problem,but when I try to tilt the seat using the switch,I can hear the motor run but nothing happens when trying to tilt it up or down.Is there a seperate cable mechanism for the tilt feature that is keeping it from moving?
