No fender tag on my ’72 Duster but I can see where it was. I did the VIN code search and found out that it was originally a 318 and was built in Hamtrack, MI but not much for info than that.

By checking it out, I can tell that it had air conditioning and a manual trans. Before I start hacking this car up, I would just like to know that I’m not destroying some rare option package. Even though I’ll probably modify to my likeing no matter what. :snakeman:

Any ideas?

How is cerberus pronounced ? I read news alot, but rarely watch TV. I have never heard it..

I’ve got a 1970 Duster dash frame, with no woodgrain, just a painted metal dash.
What do you have for a stereo? Photos would help.
Did you have to cut your dash frame?

My Duster has been on the road for about 2 years and in that time the power steering has become increasingly vague and the car has developed quite a lot of bump-steer. When I put the car on the road the pitman and idler arms were new and the tie rods and ends were upgraded to the C-body type. When I first began driving it I was very happy with the steering precision and feel and figured that I had lucked out with my Auto Zone rebuilt P/S gear and pump.

My son has a friend that brought his car over today. Its a 74 360 4V with 727. It has power brakes and steering. It has a purple shaft cam I think he said it was a 282-278-474 or close to that. At first I thought he didnt have enough vacume, when I pulled the hose from the booster it had pleanty. I put it back on and saw the shaft in the back move forward like the brake was being steped on. The vacume actually pulls the brakes on some and even went so far that it made the brake lights come on….

trying to decide what look i want for my scamp and am having trouble picking between black steelies or aluminum wheels like draglites (orignally wanted prostars but they dont have the backspacing i need for my minitub)…anyways, i hear about aluminum wheels taking a 10th off of a timeslip, but i would like to know what you guys have to say about that…the reason im trying to decide now is because its kind of dictating the colour i paint my scamp (which will be in two weeks)…

Going to install mechanicall rockers on my 340 in a few days. Can someone please tell me the proper procedure for adjusting them? I have a few mopar manuals, but the don’t go back that far. I just have 68 -70 service manuals and every small block has the regular stamped steel rockers on it. Thaks for any info.
