Putting the motor together
Ok, so im about to put the motor together and I have a few questions I need answered.
Is it ok to use moly grease on the crank bearings and the rod bearings?
If so what type of moly grease is good?
Do i pack the oil pump with grease?
What can I use to prime the motor?
In what order do I install the Piston rings?
Anniversary: I’m back……

After Market Wiring
Guys,
I’ve been battling a low voltage to the coil problem for too long and looking to go with painless, summit brand or hotrodwires.com aftermarket replacement 12 circuit wiring.
I’m also looking at going with an aftermarket instrument panel like the 1 that redlinegaugeworks.com sells and add my gauges.
Have you guys had any issues with dealing with any of these companies or products?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
coil hook up
I pulled my distributer out last week 318 cuda and forgot which side of the coil the wiring harnes goes too
what’s throwing me off is I have nothing going to Pos. side of the the coil it’s Pentronix ignitor Dist, Tach, and Harness all going to the Neg- side ???
I know the Distributer and tack are correct its the one wire comming off the harness wasn’t sure if it was +/or – it looks like it was on the neg side
if any of you can confim I’d appreciate

With all of your ideas and Steptoe for the link to the wiring diagram I have been able to get the turn signals and brake lights working. I didn’t have the hot hooked up to the brake switch, boy do I feel like a dummy now….And the flasher was bad. Again thanks.. It is people like you that make this such a great site.
