3 questions: 1) Anybody know how much HP and Torque a 318 5.2L 4BBL interceptor engine with 360 heads?
2) Anybody know where i can get a somewhat cheap supercharger?
3) Anybody know any websites other than Summit or Jegs where i can parts i.e. hoods with scoops?

ok, from what I’ve read, the early truck 318 engines designated “318-3” on the block casting had a forged, hardened crankshaft…

I just picked up a 318 that is supposedly the original engine out of a 73 Cuda. This block is also showing the “318-3” casting number on the side. Any one have any info on these blocks? Is the 318-3 designation significant in the newer engines?

I spent the entire day chasing down 101 little things. You know…. hunt for glove box latch….wire in electronic flasher relay so the LED’s work….wire reverse lights….steal windshield mouldings off of the Dart to install on the Barracuda….glue carpet onto interior cargo panels….etc. Somehow, 7 hours went by like 10 minutes. But here’s the punchline: Next Sunday my car club has it’s meeting. I’m going to be there.

When i try to engage reverse sometimes it won’t go in. Just makes a rattling noise. When i can engage it often jumps out of gear when i release the clutch. Anyone any ideas?](*,)
