I have a 69 ‘Cuda that I recently installed a 340 into. I purchased one of the billet style cheapo distributors that utilizes an hei style module. Car ran great for a total of about three hours. Next day it wouldn’t do anything. It has great spark and getting fuel. My friend came over and he moved the distributor counterclockwise absurdly far. It started half-ass firing again but still wouldn’t run. If we even moved it slightly a degree back it wouldn’t do anything. I am wondering if the car…

I got a 1964 Dodge Dart 270 about a year ago off of a friend that moved from Kansas to California. He said it was in great shape just needed a set of points, that’s the last time I do trust a friend. The motor is shot and I was assured the body was in great shape, and it looked that way till I lifted the carpet and cleaned out the trunk to find patches and a lack of trunk pan.
