OE Fan shroud or Electric fans? Both?

Hey all,

It's been a while and I bought my first house and had a hell if time with issues with it, sewer line break, garage collapse...the list goes on and on. cash

So after recovering (sort of), I am back on track with my Grandpa's Dream! 1968 Chrysler Newport 383 4 Barrel 727 tr. With the fresh new motor build I want to be cautious and not burn it up and my Grandpa for whatever reason removed the OE fan shroud, no clue where it is!

Given the the OE fan shroud is going to cost me a ridiculous amount of money, will this create the efficient cooling that I need? I know Chrysler thought so back then but I know excessive heat causes all sorts of problems and may have caused the whole reason for my needed to rebuild the motor in the first place.

What are your thoughts? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
