Blessed!
Someone has done a statistic where they have shrunk the Earth’s population to a village of 100 people. Out of this 100 people, 50% of the wealth would be in the hands of 6 people. All 6 people would be U.S. citizens. 70 would be unable to read. 50 would suffer malnutrition. 80 would have substandard housing. And only 1 would be college educated.
What a reminder of how blessed many of us are; if you have food in the refrig-erator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are blessed. If you have money, a job, and education you are blessed. Then think about if you are in good health, woke this morning and did not experience danger of war, imprisonment, or loneliness, you are truly blessed.The old hymn comes to mind, count your blessings, name them one by one; Count your blessings, see what God has done.
