Not looking well for my Dad.

He is back in the hospital. He took what my Mom thought was a tumble yesterday walking up the steps to Church. He was bleeding badly and unresponsive so they called an ambulance, when they finally arrived, they decided to life-flight him to Herman hospital. Turns out they think he had a stroke which caused him to collapse and tumble down the stairs. I don't know what to think of Doctors as the first gave us the bad news and told us to expect the worst, that he was in a comma, he would never regain any function and the only way to sustain life would be thru machines and feeding tubes IF they could get the brain hemorrhage to stop, (which is the kind of stroke he had) the second doctor after the shift change told us it would be at least 48 hours before they knew his condition.

It's all a wait and see situation right now, but it doesn't look good. It took him months to get back to any kind of condition after the pacemaker surgery and if he does regain consciousness, I don't know if he has the strength to come back from this.

I am not one much for pictures, but my last photo was of him at the gun range, clutching his pistol so we wouldn't take it away from him when we got back home. Terrifyingly we let him keep it. He went one to apply for and pass his concealed handgun carry permit class, He was so happy and proud to be back shooting again.
