hi folks! i will come right out with it and tell you all that i am a ford guy who also dabbles in the older gm pool as well. please dont flame me LOL. the reason that i am here, though, is i have a soft spot for chrysler company vehicles as well. i guess im basically an all around domestics lover. anyway i will soon be taking delivery of a free 88ish lebaron coupe. ive got some ideas, but im not sure how to approach this car. it has the v6 i believe (2.5?) and is just a base hardtop coupe. the car needs work, its my future motherinlaws car, but she doesnt want it anymore and wants to let me have it. which is fine with me, will give me a project to play with over the winter. i guess basically what im looking for are ideas once i get it running. we have a bit of a starting issue, which shouldnt be a problem for me, it sounds to me like it needs a battery, or that the alternator is bad. is there a whole lot i can do with this car? the body is in great shape, and the interior is nice, too. i really dont wanna junk the car, as i believe she has some potential. i guess ill float around the forum a bit and see what ideas i can round up. anyway this looks like a nice site, and i look foward to chatting with you all.
