Ok the neutral safety switch that was in the Vitamin C was a single wire (no reverse lights) that had its single wire go to the starter relay switch. the spring was shot so that the shifter would not only start in any gear, but my rachet shifter would go one more time past Park. I had a couple spare switches, but they were the 3 wire types.
Since I had the Whale's transmission on the rebuild table, I scarfed the one in it.
Summit, nor just about anyone else have a 1-wire. Looking on eBay there are NOS one wire switches for $65 where the three wire are $12. So my question is, can you (and where do you get) whatever connects to the three wire switch, and cut off the two wires (which) not going to the relay?
