I have a buddy who wants to runs 7.40 to 7.60's in the 1/8 mile with his dart. I told him with a warmed over 360 it should be easy. Here is what I suggested to him. LA 360 .30 KB pistons with around 9.5 to 10.1 compression for pump gas ( this is and will be a street car) EQ or RHS heads no port work and a healthy bumpstick yet to be determined. Hes running a 3.91 gear and around 3500 stall. I assume a properly balanced 360 with stock cast crank and rods with ARP rod bolts would be good. He thinks he needs a stroker to do so but I disagree. Oh it will have a RPM Air Gap and 750 Holley. If you have some good advice it will be well appreciated. 408 or 360 and what kit if a 408 , I heard the scat cast kit is good and well priced
