I just pulled the motor out of the 65 valiant. I'll be tearing it down tomorrow and get ready to take parts to the machine shop. I'm sure ill need to have hardened seats installed and what ever else needs to be done, will be done. I've built a couple 350's and a bunch of air cooled vws. But this is my first mopar. If you guys have any tips on tear down or rebuild I would enjoy your input. Plan is a stock motor, if there is a better cam then stock for mileage or better drivability in general, let me know. I'll be posting pics and updates, and also struggles. My exhaust manifold is in two, so I have few options to possibly upgrade, I'm still unsure.
Reason for tearing apart is because I believe timing chain skipped and oil pressure was real low figured everything else was real close to going as well.
