I have the Shumaucher poly mounts and their torq strap. Was wondering if I should switch over to solids. Was also wondering about a plate. Motor is 500ci w/650ish hp. The polys/strap works fine for street use but was wondering if it will hold up to all out racing.
How do I know if my motor is square? When I swapped trans (833 to 727) it didn't really line up. I had to wallow the trans crossmember holes out some to get it to work. I know it wasn't the right way to do it but was new to working on cars so that is how I left it.
