I must be genetic. when my mother was a young woman (on the farm) she loved dogs and had 15-20 at a time ( plenty of tabl e scraps with 9 siblings??).
me. I love ALL mopars. after 30 years in the hobby, I have gone from loving rare and fast, to now the slants, weak 318's, the four door thing is now beginning to bit me on the a--?? LOL
while down at the local "country" garage, one of th e locals begins to ell me bout all the slants he has ( pickups, combines, and a 67 more door dart! ) HA!
he goes to farm sales, drags stuff home (farm), there it sits among thje cattle.
he did have an old 60 something 1/2 ton. yea, i'd like one. little rough.
the dart, sitting in edge of the timber. at 50 foot didn't look that bad. $500. well maybe worth $50 over scrap price!!???? it certainly not going anywhere!!
so why do I want it!???? $600 would buy me a complete 65 slant runnin dart. $700 a runnin low mile ( somewhat rusty) 66 slant dart. a few bucks more a runnin 65 slant cuda. few more bucks a runnin 273 66 cuda.... still say it would be cool. fixed up, some paint, shiney used tires, tack mounted to the dash? what gives???
