Mirror, mirror

I've been collecting these cars for almost 11 years and just noticed this today.

The convertible and the bronze 2DHT are the odd ones. The convertible is a pieced together train wreck. The bronze car is a 40k mile original car with one repaint.

When I first discovered this I thought the difference was single and dual, but not so.

Has anyone else noticed this with there '67's or '68's?

I still have to chase down the build dates on all of them. Maybe a mid year change?

Where are they located on a '68?

Thanks,

John
