MAXIMVS II: 1964 Plymouth Savoy…

Well, MAXIMVS I (63 Savoy) is safely with the new owner in Georgia now. It was tough seeing the old boy loaded up and hauled off. The 64 Savoy is in the garage all by its lonesome now and I'm starting to get around to fooling with it now. The paint and body will be done first (the bodywork is already done and the floors are nice), it's going to be Q-5/KK-1 Turquoise Poly (metallic) with a ghost MAXIMVS II on the quarter panels, with a black interior with bucket seats. The motor will be a 472 or 528 hemi, solid lifters, crossram with 770 holleys. The trans will be a four speed, I haven't settled on an 833 or the new Passon's 4 gear. The rear diff is a narrowed Dana 60 with 4.10's and a locker. Wheels will be Torque Thrust D's. The car will see mostly street time but will see some NSS races.

That said, here are some pics in the garage (notice the passenger side shock tower? It has been modified to clear a hemi valve cover and the base has been notched as well, ala 1964 race hemi factory mods):
