Replacing the lower control arm bushings with Poly.
The pivot arm rods that came out of the original rubber bushings had the inner metal of the bushing wedged onto the arms. When replacing the rods, shouldn't the arm slide into the bushing without the use of a press? Looking to polish the rods so they go into the bushing very snuggly, but not needing a press. Anyone use a dry film lubricant on these? Thoughts.
