Did Mopar make more than one configuration for the valve body mounted kickdown lever?
I've got a Lokar cable on my 360/904 combo Arrow pickup, and it looks to me like I really could use a kick down lever that is clocked further forward towards the bellhousing, and if I'm not mistaken they fit on a D shaped shaft, so there's no moving it on the shaft, right?
The problem is that the lever can't move through it's full range due to the mechanical position of the cable mount through the tailshaft mounting bolt. It can pull back through about half it's travel, then the cable's position keeps it from coming back all the way. I don't see a way to move or make new, a mount that could fix this...
