I bought a 65 Valiant 4 door with the 273 V8 last year. Car runs, but major steering issues. You can only turn wheel 3/4’s to the left and almost 2 full turns to the right. So when you want to make a left turn, you have to make a really wide turn or a K turn.
4 different old school mechanics have looked at both the Power steering box and the Pitman arm, and even when the box and arm are not engaged, and having the steering wheel centered, the arm doesn’t seat properly on the shaft of...
