With what looks to be a rear main seal replacement looming for the 400 in my New Yorker I switched gears yesterday and reinstalled the rear seat.
I had removed it last fall because of the mouse nests underneath it. Cleaned everything up , and decided fiberglass insulation would be decent enough as a replacement for the factory jute type material .
None of this is high on the mechanical /restoration scale but it felt good to have the back seat in again.
