Hey guys I got another project going on now. But sadly can't keep this one, I bought it to fix it up and sell (which is my dream business). First off its a 1940 ford pickup. I know its not a mopar but its pretty rare and its a very cool little truck.
It's going to be a few weeks before I am ready for paint, but I figured I would try to get some advice in early. I am wanting to do a two tone paint job, black on top and candy metallic flake green on bottom. First off what colors are needed and what kind of paint should be used to do the candy metallic flake green?
Second, should the whole truck be painted with the green before the black is put on?
Also how long should I wait before I start taping off the second color? I mean I don't want to feel the truck and it feel dry to the touch and start taping it off and finish the second color and go to pull my tape off and have the first color stuck to the tape lol.
