Got curious if they made aftermarket parts for these. Swapping my 383 to a 4 barrel, and my air cleaner base for the 2 barrel won't work as the hole is too small (around 4 inches if I remember), while the Carter AVS is 5 1/8th.
I measured the bottom both in total and from the hole itself, in total it's around 18 inches and from the carburetor mounting hole it's around 7 1/8. It's just your regular 2 barrel air cleaner so if you have one you know what it looks like.
