The up and down very cold weather we've been having in North TX this year has me thinking about a better heating system in my garage. I've been using a small electric space heater for years, and it has kept me comfortable enough to work in all but the coldest weather, but not this year.
I've been looking at using radiant heating mats under interlocking vinyl floor tile. The installation price is not much different than a propane or electric furnace, but I wonder if the radiant heated floor is warm enough as the only heating system. Thoughts?
