With this crap of banning the leaded race fuel in Canada it doesn't have a bright light shining on our future of drag racing here! Yet the government will help the war plane museum so they can still fly the old war planes and dump out more toxins them a whole national event could pump out! I seen on one of our local race sites that Toronto Motorsports Park will no longer be carrying leaded race fuel but will have the VP MS109 unleaed race fuel.
This track was just sanctioned recently with AHRA,wonder how long that'll last?

| Just a heads up... LEADED FUEL will NOT BE available at the track for the next few months. There is still an issue with the amendment being passed into legislation, which will give an exemption for 5 years. The way I understand it, they have to vote it through, or rubber stamp it, or whatever the case is
..and only then, is it legal to sell again. I was around when this happened the first time in the 90's and when they went after the dealers, they screwed them over bad, fined them, confiscated all of their fuel, and did not return it until years later when it was worthless even as paint thinner
.it's just not worth it for VP Randy or John McIntyre to risk their businesses for it, and it is a Federal Offense
.Hopefully something changes soon, but I dont see it happening for a few months at least
..McIntyre will have unleaded available at the track, and the way it sounds, you will need to adapt to it, as I dont see much for leaded availability in the near future (McIntyre is out now since order never got here). Probably a good move to get into unleaded, as it is going to become permanent eventually anyway
